Last year someone posted Len Maxwell's "Merry Monster Christmas" and due to bandwidth issues I did't grab it. I searched the site and the old link is dead. Is there any chance someone could post it again?

Thanks, and Happy Holidays to all.

You're in luck.  I recently uploaded Len Maxwell - A Merry Monster Christmas (1964) and Peter Pan Records - Monster Christmas Mash (1974) for somebody.  Enjoy them both!

Thanks for the Len Maxwell.  Just a note, the Monster Christmas Mash upload has expired.

Also, be sure to keep an eye on Wonderful Wonderblog - he promised to post some monster Christmas stuff pretty soon.

Hi Karloff,

Thanks for mentioning my blog, but I'm afraid I don't have much more in the way of monsterous Christmas music. I have 'A Merry Monster Christmas', 'Monster Christmas Mash' and a few single songs that I got from here last year (I think). I made a post on my blog asking people if they knew of any more Monster Christmas stuff. It's kinda hard to come by.

Sorry.

Erick, I see you have the Angel tune up on your blog, but you call it "The Christmas Song."  I saw it  on Christmas A-Go-Go and they called it "Winter Song."  Which title is correct?

They are both correct. 'The Winter Song' is from their 1977 album White Hot. 'The Christmas Song' is from the White Hot sessions and issued only as a single in 1978. They both appear on the CD Angel: An Anthology from 1992.

Hi everyone. I've downloaded " Monster Christmas Mash" from three sources but each seems incomplete. All of them list tracks one through thirty but each is missing a track named eleven.

They seem to all be the same encoding; I'm guessing none of them are from original vinyl, as the tracks seem to be split up. (Track 18 is only eighteen seconds, and fades out; I suspect it has been shortened. I have "At Home With The Munsters" on CD. It's a recent Japanese issue, and it too deletes a track from the original vinyl, and it splits therecording into more tracks than was on the record.)

Does anyone have an encoded version from the vinyl? Does it differ from the version available on the internet? I love this record and so want to have a complete version, and if possible, encoded over 128, even though the original was a cheap pressing.

Has anyone else noticed that track 14, "Who's that up on the roof?", is a song used on the Caroleers' "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"? Don't know which came first, though.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Edited to add: Karloff 3, Thanks for posting your upload of "Monster Christmas Mash". It seems to be the same as the other sources I have found, missing a track 11. Thanks for posting it, though. You, Ben at the expired BenT Records blog, and Dr. Terror of the blog "Dr. Terror's Bloodcurdling House of Horrors" have all been kind enough to make this available, and I wouldn't have heard it since childhood, if it weren't for folks like you.
